Job Purpose:

Provide assistance in the development and execution of exercises comprised of event design, planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation, to include table-top exercises (TTX), senior leader seminars (SLS), and other activities as required.

 

Duties:

- Support a multi- disciplinary team on all aspects of organizing, planning, and executing DOD and Interagency exercises;

- Assist executing joint CBRN defense training at the combatant commands and/or component commands levels; Plan, Develop, and Execute Full Scale, Command Post, Table Top Exercises

- Assist developing the Joint Event Life Cycle Management, Planning Conference Organization, Exercise Plan Development and Master Scenario of Events List Development

- Assist documenting events (e.g. AARs, programmatic strategic documentation, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), information papers.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

- Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in DOD exercises and platform instruction

- Experience must include organizing, planning, and executing DOD exercises, and classroom instruction related to CBRN Responses.

- Demonstrate expertise in support of the planning and execution of joint CBRN defense training at the combatant commands and/or component commands.

- Experience will include Exercise Planning, Development, and Execution efforts inclusive of Full Scale, Command Post, Table Top Exercises, the Joint Event Life Cycle Management, Planning Conference Organization, Exercise Plan Development and Master Scenario of Events List Development and documenting events (e.g. AARs, programmatic strategic documentation, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), information papers.

-  Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the DOD and with other federal agencies is required.

- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

- Must have a valid U.S. Passport.

- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
