Job Purpose:

Provide tactical, operational, and strategic capabilities of partner nations to respond to and mitigate the effects of WMD incidents; supports Combatant Command (CCMDs) Intermediate Military Objectives and Lines of Effort focused on aiding partner nations in building capacity and capability to respond to and mitigate WMD threats.

 

Duties:

-  Coordinate with outside sources as needed and ensure that technical documentation is accurate and complete, develop plans for Strategic Partner Nation (PN) engagement support requirements, support multiple PN engagements simultaneously, advise on assessments of PN CBRN capabilities, and provide PN CBRN workshop recommendations.

- Advise and assist Leadership with coordination to synchronize and integrate both the Strategic and Implementation Plan with DTRA’s and Geographic Combatant Commander’s Theater Campaign Plans and other U.S. Government agencies.

- Advise and assist DTRA Leadership with developing performance based metrics (preferably passively collected) that reflect the mission and goals of BPC at both the Department and Division level for the Strategic and Implementation plans identified above.

- Assist DTRA Leadership with synchronizing and integrating the Strategic Plan, the Implementation Plan, the Theater Campaign Plan, and the metrics with DTRA's Agency Strategic Plan and Metrics.

- Assist DTRA Leadership with developing or adapting web based systems to capture/record planned events, outcomes, metrics and other vital data, and enable these systems to integrate with existing DTRA tools such as SharePoint.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

- Minimum of five (5) years of practical experience and discipline applicable to CBRN Defense and experience as a professional on a multi- disciplinary team and Engagement Plan development.

- Experience in all aspects of organizing, planning, and executing DOD, Interagency and Partner Nation events.

- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in support of the planning and execution of joint CBRN defense training at the combatant commands, component commands, Joint task forces and/or foreign partners.

- Possess knowledge in the development and/or enhancement of CBRN Defense, Combating WMD, CBRN Consequence Management (CM), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), and Medical CBRN Defense curriculum.

-  Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the DOD and with other federal agencies is required.

- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

- Must have a valid U.S. Passport.

- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
